Time to Get On Board with Hook & Gaff Watch Company

Tough Enough to withstand Saltwater, Shock, Sand and Sun

After years of product research, Hook & Gaff Watch Company was started in 2014 with one goal in mind - engineer a watch tough enough to withstand the relentless buffeting of saltwater, shock, sand and sun. And so the Hook & Gaff watch was born. They've built their watches for the most challenging angling conditions. How do they know? Because they had professional guides and anglers take it for a test run. Day after day. Year after year. Which has made our watches stronger, sturdier, and, frankly, superior. Because at Hook & Gaff, they believe certain people are just built for the boat. And certain watches are too.

SPORTFISHER

Hook & Gaff's flagship watch is a limited edition, Swiss made quartz movement with moon phase and date. The Sportfisher movement is protected by a custom 42mm case that utilizes a screw-down case back and crown for optimal water resistance. The watch case is solid, high-grade titanium. The low density metal is lightweight, strong and highly corrosive resistant. Titanium is also a poor conductor of heat, providing additional comfort for those hot days on the open water. The crown is uniquely placed on the left side of the watch face to avoid irritation during active angling situations. The crystal is anti-reflective, scratch resistant sapphire. Dials and hour markers utilize Swiss Super-Luminova® making them easier to see during early hour expeditions. The Sportfisher is water resistant to 200m/660ft.

DIVE STRAP

These dive straps are designed from high quality Italian rubber. With a folding double security stainless steel clasp, they are made to withstand the elements.

NATO STRAP

These nylon straps are based on the early 1970s British Ministry of Defense Standard (Def Stan) 66-15s, sometimes called G10s. Our straps are made with ballistic grade nylon that is thicker and tougher than ordinary polyester straps and built to withstand the most adverse outdoor conditions.
